MBA Finance Program- Better Than A CA Course?

There has been an unusual level of argument and debate about the various courses for a good career. I know that the MBA fever is going to last for quite some time. The popularity of MBA is completely justified. However, people make the mistake of choosing some wrong courses of studies. I know many friends, who would advise me on pursuing a course of study in Chartered Accountancy. Well, I had been thinking if the effort and time of the course would be really worth it. Would it be better than a MBA Finance program? Well, let’s find out.

The thing is that the MBA finance course has many advantages in comparison to the regular CA course. This has some basic reasons. When you are pursuing a CA course, you will come to know that it takes a lot of time. I know some people, who have tried and then retried to pass the tests to qualify for the course. Often, the best of the efforts are not rewarded. It takes about 10 years for a young aspirant to become a qualified and able chartered accountant for a company. On the other hand, the MBA Finance Program takes only a couple of years to complete and get the job.

Moreover, the subject matter of a CA course is also insignificant. You only get to rack your heads over the theories and basics of the subject of accountancy. Instead, the MBA program involves studying only the relevant aspects of accountancy. Also, the study material concerns only the practical and dynamic knowledge of accounting procedures. Then, the aspirants would also have some good job opportunities with their MBA degrees. In fact, if you merely get a job after a CA course, it will be mostly a rear desk job. You will only have a good interaction with bigger purposes with a job from a MBA.
